CAF Confederation Cup: Al-Marikh half-way to the group stage

Playing away from home in the round of 16^th of the confederation cup, Al-Marikh snatches away draw from a defeat that stares it in the face, playing versus the formidable Moroccan side Olympic Khouribka. The host score twice in span of six minutes to shock the visitors, and control the first half the goals were scored by Bazgoodi Ibrahim and Tariq Hassan respectively.

In the second half Al-Marikh looks different after a few changes done by the German coach, Ala Al-Zahra replaced Ameer Damar and he revitalize the attack and help in changing the result, the first goal of Al-Marikh scored by Faisal Al-Ajab in the 2oth minutes of the second half, six minutes later Mujahid Ahmad added the second.

With this result Al-Marikh have a great chance to advance to the group stage. The return leg will be held at Omdurman in two weeks time.
