Group 10: 2010 World Cup-African Nations Cup qualifiers

Today evening June 22, 2008, Sudan National football team will face the star stud Mali, at their own backyard in the second leg of 2010 World Cup-African Nations Cup qualifiers.

The crunch match of Mali and Sudan will no doubt be a two-legged "final" between the strongest teams in the group, and the atmosphere in Bamako will absolutely be electric.

Mali is still group leaders, although they lost for the first time when Sudan beat them 3-2 at Omdurman on June 15, 2008, despite a double from Frederic Kanoute and the support of the like of Mahamadou Diarra  and  Seydou Keita.

Sudan players motivated by their marvelous and courageous display will play to their best under the guidance of Captain Haitham Mustafa, because a positive result a draw or a win will pave the way for a berth in the second round.
