CAF Champions League 2008: Al-Hilal Advanced to the round of 16

Sudan’s Al Hilal, semifinalists of the last year edition, advanced to the third round on Saturday after holding Zesco United to a 1-1 draw in Ndola. Al Hilal, 2-0 up from the first leg, took the lead in the 43rd minute through the formidable striker Ahmed Adil.

ZESCO scored a consolation goal 14 minutes into the second half with a penalty from Enoch Sakala. 3-1 aggregate shows Al-Hilal through comfortably. In the next round Al-Hilal will face the winner of match 42 Mamelodi Sundowns or Curepipe Starlight SC.
