Minister of Energy and Mining receives leaders of Sudanese-Egyptian Bank, Ambassador of Norway

SUNA- Minister of Energy and Mining Al-Zubair Ahmed Hassan received at his office a delegation from the Sudanese-Egyptian Bank, headed by the Deputy General Director Hassan Mohamed Hussein, in presence of the leaders of the Ministry. The Deputy General Director of the bank briefed the Minister on the work of the bank since its establishment two years ago during which it achieved great success in various aspects, explaining that they would work to attract Arab investments and investors to work in Sudan.

The Minister, on his part, praised the success of the Sudanese-Egyptian Bank in the previous period, saying that it is one of the most important tools of the Sudanese-Egyptian partnership. Meanwhile, the Minister of Energy and Mining received the Norwegian Ambassador to Sudan on the occasion of the expiry of his assignment to the country and discussed means of boosting relations between Sudan and Norway in all fields, especially in energy domain.

The Minister stressed the importance of strengthening the relations linking Sudan and many countries of the world, particularly Norway, whose bilateral relations with Sudan have become stronger following the signing of the peace agreement in Naivasha. The Minister further commended the role played by Norway in training Sudanese carders working in the domains of oil. The Norwegian Ambassador praised the achievement of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
