President Bashir laid the foundation stone for the heightening of the Roseris Dam

SUNA -The President of the Republic Field Marshal Omar Al-Bashir on Wednesday laid the foundation stone launching the project for heightening Al- Rosaries dam.

The Wali of the Blue Nile State Malik Agar pointed out in a statement before the celebrations marking the launch of the project that his government would strongly support the project for its economic and developmental benefits to the whole country.

The Wali said the heightening of the project was a national demand for a long time. The Wali has meanwhile commended the role played by the Dams Implementation Unit which will carry out this project saying his government is committed to provide every possible support to the project.
