President Al-Bashir inaugurates Gezira Sudanese-Jordanian Bank

President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir Sunday opened Gezira Sudanese-Jordanian Bank in Khartoum in the presence of a number of ministers, Wali (Governor) of Gezira State, Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan, businessmen and ambassadors. Wali (Governor) of Gezira State Gen. Abdel-Rahman Sirelkhatim has described the project as a real addition to the Islamic banks in Sudan and is outcome of investment forums the state has hosted. Gezira State is basing concern on agricultural and industrial development and infrastructure as well as attraction of investors from all around the world. The 100-million dollar bank is asset to Sudanese-Jordanian investment and Sudan's progressing economy, said head of the board of directors of the bank.
