Jordan resumes importation of Sudanese meats

Minister of Animal and Fish Resources Ahmad Abu- Klabiesh declared in a press statement recently beginning of preparations to resume exporting the Sudanese meats to Jordan, in the framework of the bilateral agreement between the two countries in the fields of agriculture, fishery and animal wealth. The minister pointed to a number of investors, who expressed their desire to invest in the fields of animal wealth and explained that it will motivate the bilateral agreement between the two countries. Meanwhile, Egypt had resumed importation of the Sudanese meats after stoppage in last period. The Union of Livestock Owners praised resuming the Sudanese meats exportation to Jordan and asserted that it considered the move as a good starting point after the period of recession in the last months. The Union had considered entrance of foreign investment to fields of animal resources as a starting point to improve the sector that has huge contributions to the national income. The union pointed out that the decision of resuming importation of the Sudanese meats by Egypt and Jordan shows the good reputation of the Sudanese meats, affirming that Sudan is capable of meeting all needs of the Arab countries of livestock and meats.
