Minister of Finance welcomes promotion of Sudanese-Libyan cooperation

Minister of Finance and National Economy, Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jazz, welcomed joint cooperation between Sudan and Libya in domains of transport, agriculture and industry. This came when the Minister received at his office Sunday the Secretary of the Libyan General People's Committee for Telecommunications & Transport, Dr. Muhammad Abu-Ujayla Al-Mabruk, who is currently on a visit to the Sudan as part of the efforts to enhance the joint economic cooperation in the fields of investment and services. Dr. Al-Jazz briefed the Libyan minister on the agricultural development programme and expansion of agricultural investment under the current international food crisis, welcoming Libya's investment in Sudan in domains of agriculture, industry and railways. Meanwhile, the Libyan Minister, on his part, voiced out the desire of his country to increase investments in Sudan as well as to make use of the huge resources of the Sudan, hailing the achievements of Sudan's economy.
