US Envoy to Sudan Arrives in Khartoum

The US envoy for Sudan, Scott Gration, arrived in Khartoum Tuesday evening on a seven day-visit to Sudan during which he will hold talks with a number of senior government officials. The spokesman of the Ministry f the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Al-Saddig, said in a statement to the press that the visit of the American envoy affirms the American administration keenness to continue dialogue with the government in full coordination and to deal with the major issues facing the Sudanese - US bilateral relations. The US official is due to visit Darfur, Juba and Abyei.
