SUNA- President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir has appreciated the stances of the Islamic Press Association and its solidarity with Sudan in the face of the unjust decision of the International Criminal Court (ICC). Following his meeting with President Al-Bashir at the Guest House Sunday in the presence of Dr. Abdul-Hay Yousif, the Chairman of the Islamic Press Association and head of its delegation Ahmed Al-Soyan affirmed that the ICC decision did not target only President Al-Bashir and Sudan government and people, but also targeted all Islamic and Arab governments and peoples.

Al-Soyan described Sudan official decision rejecting the ICC decision as brave and wise, adding that the duty of the Arab peoples toward their regimes is to support Sudan concerning the unfair ICC decision. Al-Soyan pointed out that they asserted the importance of making popular public international Islamic opinion to confront the western domination and imperialism, pointing out that Sudan is not alone in this confrontation, but all the Arab and Muslim peoples are standing alongside it.
