SUNA- The Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Hamad bin Jasim bin Jabr Al-Thani, Wednesday inaugurated at Sheraton Hotel in Doha, a meeting for reconciliation between Sudan and Chad. In his address at the meeting, Sheikh Hamad bin Jasim bin Jabr Al-Thani hoped that the meeting will result in improvement and consolidation of the Sudanese - Chadian relations, ending the differences between the two countries and realizing stability and the good for the two sister peoples.

He also hoped that the meeting will be characterized by frankness, fraternity spirit and transparency. He indicated that the reconciliation meeting was a fruit of joint Qatari - Libyan efforts to settle the difference between Sudan and Chad.

The opening sitting was also addressed by the Qatari State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed bin Abdalla Al-Mahmoud, and the Libyan Secretary of the People's Committee for External Relations and International Cooperation, Musa Mohamed Kosa.
