In a message to President Al Bashir, the President of Burundi affirms his country's rejection of allegation leveled by ICC Prosecutor Ocampo

SUNA- The President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omar Al Bashir, on Monday received a message from his Burundi counterpart Pierre Nkurunziza in which Burundi expressed its firm rejection of the allegations leveled by the ICC against the Sudanese leadership and Sudanese people and in which it stated the backing of the people of Burundi to the people of the Sudan.

The Adviser of the Burundi President and Special Envoy to the Sudan Mohamed Okara who called on the President of the Republic on Monday told the Sudan News Agency that Sudan was undergoing a plot that seeks its identity and its national gains and that this plot would seek all other African leaders and their homelands. He said he has briefed the President of the Republic on the situation in Burundi and its efforts to realize peace and stability.
