President Al-Bashir receives telephone call from Ki-moon

SUNA- President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir received Saturday evening a telephone call from UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in which he expressed his deep regret over the movement of the International Criminal Court (ICC). Ki-moon expressed the readiness of the international organization to cooperate with Sudan to implement all agreements and understandings concluded between the two sides.

President Al-Bashir affirmed that Sudan will deal with the movements of the ICC decisively as it retains full right to respond to these movements in accordance with the diplomatic channels. President Al-Bashir called on the international community to fulfill its commitments to achieve peaceful comprehensive solution to Darfur issue. President Al-Bashir also called on the UN Secretary General to move to retrieve the equipment of UNAMID which were seized by the armed movements in Darfur.
