Sudan and Venezuela to Exchange Resident Embassies

Sudan and Venezuela have started arrangements to open two resident embassies for each of them in the other's capital. SUNA learned that this step comes in the context of the openness policy adopted by Sudan toward the countries in South America. Three years ago Sudan launched its first resident diplomatic mission to Brazil. Last week Khartoum received a diplomatic mission of Venezuela toward commencement of procedure to establish a resident embassy of Venezuela in Sudan. Sudan is expected to carry out a similar step in the coming months toward enhancement of its relations with the Venezuelan and South American peoples.
