The President of the Republic renews the Government Commitment to complete the peace process

In his meeting with the delegation of the International Leadership Foundation The President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omar Al Bashir on Sunday renewed the government commitment to implement the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), complete the peace process in Darfur and cement the pillar of development and democratic transformation in the country.

The delegation has meanwhile briefed the President on its visit to the country and the outcome of its meetings with the officials in the government and with the civil society organizations.

The Advisor of the President, Dr Mustafa Osman Ismail, has meanwhile pointed out in a statement to the Sudan News Agency that the President of the Republic has meanwhile briefed the visiting delegation on the political development in the country and the government programmes for the coming period for the implementation of the CPA.
